Show answer

Show answer
Reuse the phrases in a different situation.
Transfer task
Rewrite the situation using your own day, place or preference, then say it aloud without looking.
Reference card These phrases aim for broad usefulness. Use usted forms for the polite singular examples; tú forms for informal singular examples. Plural address varies: ustedes is used throughout Latin America and also formally in much of Spain; informal vosotros occurs in much of Spain. Billete/boleto, móvil/celular and camarero/mesero vary by place. The first term is not universally more correct.
Match the phrase to the situation: listen to the reply and ask a follow-up rather than reciting the whole list.
