English meaning

Sam suggests coffee on Saturday. Alex likes the idea but cannot meet in the morning. They agree on four o'clock. Sam mentions a new job. Alex asks what the work is like and listens before talking about their own week.

Reference card

These phrases aim for broad usefulness. Use usted forms for the polite singular examples; tú forms for informal singular examples. Plural address varies: ustedes is used throughout Latin America and also formally in much of Spain; informal vosotros occurs in much of Spain. Billete/boleto, móvil/celular and camarero/mesero vary by place. The first term is not universally more correct.
