Elijo una parte corta de un episodio sobre la vida cotidiana. Primero escucho para identificar el tema. Después busco dos expresiones útiles en el texto. Vuelvo a escuchar sin leer. Al final hago un resumen de un minuto y doy mi opinión.

English meaning

I choose a short part of an episode about daily life. First I listen for the topic. Then I check the text for two useful expressions. I listen again without reading. Finally I give a one-minute summary and say whether I agree.

Reference card

These phrases aim for broad usefulness. Use usted forms for the polite singular examples; tú forms for informal singular examples. Plural address varies: ustedes is used throughout Latin America and also formally in much of Spain; informal vosotros occurs in much of Spain. Billete/boleto, móvil/celular and camarero/mesero vary by place. The first term is not universally more correct.

If a transcript is gated, the free route is: replay a short section, identify the main idea and move to a supported resource earlier in this sequence. A paid transcript is never required to finish the original practice task. Start with 2–5 minutes of longer audio and increase the segment only when you can retell it.
